up and runnin'

i uninstalled nav and installed 4home today. i read some help topics/ support faq and got a basic understanding of the program. so far so good, this looks like a good program with a good support forum. not to mention the great price...

I agree with you clydeb11.  8)

Avast is a wonderful product with an excellent support team.
It amazes me that you were able to install Avast after getting rid of Norton! So many people can't seem to do this and run into problems when Avast fails to install.  :-\

I think Avast has problems installing on a WinNT/2000/XP machine even after you remove it.... The uninstall program NEVER rids the system of Norton registry keys.

I'm glad things are working' out for ya.
