Hi all,
Does Avast scan Firefox like it does IE?

As I cruise around using Firefox I notice the Avast icon does not spin.

avast resident scanner doesn't scan until you download files & execute them...even for IE

if you use a download manager...you can take a look at this thread..

furthermore you can customise your resident scanner to detect virus in archives before downloading them..
