P2P filters with Avast
« on: April 19, 2004, 02:26:18 AM »
Hi, I am a complete noobie and have'nt had much time to read through all the posts yet.  I was wondering if anyone can tell me how I can add a P2P client to Avast?  I found the list of P2P's that Avast covers but the 3 main ones I use are'nt on that list. Thanks

What are the names of your 3 ones ? There're some technical problems with some p2p clients (try to search their names in the forum and read pavels' contributions why it's not so easy to support them; I only remember the case of WinMX). Thanks.

Hi, I didn't mention them by name because some sites are so fussy about what you can say.  The 3 I use are Sharaza, Ares and suprnova.  I dont have a problem with winmx, it's on the sheild list and works fine. Thanks for the reply.

Isn't supernova the same as BitTorrent?
