seems to have. I didn't use the uninstallation tool i just used the uninstaller that came with AVG. There still was a folder left over with some AVG stuff in it but i deleted it.

Personally I would run the AVG Remover, juat to be sure as avg8 seems to leave some debris behind. Download tool from here,
http://www.grisoft.com/ww.download-tools
there is a 32bit and 64 bit windows version, ensure you use the correct one.
Can you reduce the dimensions of your image in your signature, it makes the topics very long.
