set avast to ignore certain file
« on: March 31, 2009, 06:34:49 PM »
during a scan, avast notifies me of some files being trojans. how can i set avast to ignore these files, so that i don't have to be at the computer to press 'continue' , so that the scan will complete.

I would say to stick with your other topic (http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=43841.0), which sded and I have just answered, where confirmation should first be made before any exclusion.

I have shown how to do that in my reply in your other topic.

They are both in a way related, as first the detection must be confirmed and if an FP submitted for further analysis and then exclude from scans until the virus signature database has been corrected.
