Nothing wrong with IE either if set up right.  :)

If you conveniently forget about the appalling security record of zero-day exploits left unpatched for far too long, providing a Window of opportunity for malware attacks.

Well, I suppose old age does have its advantages.

You need to upgrade Opera to 9.64 for a better experience with Opera.

Ok, that's good. But, you have been posting 8.5 version of Opera.     ;D

Thanks again.

Personally have all except IE 8, installed on this Sony machine, i.e. FF, Opera 8.5, and Google Chrome.

But I use either FF or Opera.

What would you smart members recommend when it comes to FF vs. Opera?

Hoping to hear from you as always,

Regards,

Yezinki.

So, I thought you had an old version.    ;)

I apologize for posting 8.5, cause it slipped  through my mind that it was updated.

-= Well, I just tried Opera and it works fine.. It haven't crash since then compared to Firefox which is a little buggy.. On the contrast, I think Opera is somehow heavier in resources than Firefox.. But, overall, both are great..

Hi there,

In my opinion all browsers like IE 8, FF, Opera & Safari have their pros & cons.

Basically it comes down to personal likings, security, java compatibility & how much system resources each suck.

I prefer Opera but doesn’t have the latest Java FX plug-in.

So back with IE 8.

Thanks!

JavaScript - the Web site performance killer, Google guru says
The scripting language is one of several culprits that slow Web site loading

Computerworld - Nowadays, even regular Web surfers know some of the things to do when designing a Web site for fast performance. Cut the number of requests to the Web server. Shrink JPEG sizes. Enlist the services of a content delivery network vendor like Akamai Technologies Inc. or Limelight Networks Inc.

Better browsers, better performance
New and upcoming Web browsers will be able to download JavaScript files while executing them. Internet Explorer 8, released last month, has that capability, Souders said, as do the upcoming Firefox 3.5 from Mozilla Corp. and Chrome 2.0 from Google.

I do not have that problem, chronoboi001.  Can you give me an example URL that does not load correctly for you?
