Your desktop neat and clean - Bump Top free
« on: April 25, 2009, 10:44:26 PM »
Hi malware fighters,

A desktop with all sort of files and shortcuts will make your PC sort of slow, there is a virtual cockpit solution to do something about this, Bump Top, get it here: http://bumptop.com/

Who is already using this?

Cybersecurity is more of an attitude than anything else. Avast Evangelists.

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!

I never did get to find out what it does, the web site isn't very specific and since it is geared up to use youtube to present what it does that is a dead loss for me.

I have used RocketDock for some time now and it really is basic and I have been looking for something a little more flexible and I have been considering StarDock's ObjectDock.

From what I did see of bump top, RocketDock is nothing like it.

What I would like to do in RocketDock is group common tasks under one icon, so I get a drop down list to select the application. You only have to look at your desktop image to see you are running out of real estate in the rocket dock bar as I did. So I still have to use my quick launch toolbar and two other custom toolbars for the windows taskbar.
