Is there any way to know avast4guard work well ?

hi guys !
I have installed avast4 personal edition on my ubuntu 9.04 system and Dazuko module has been lloaded for sure .SO is there any way to know avast4guard work well ?

best thing is to echo "" >file the eicar test string (eicar.org, anti-malware test file, upper right corner) to the "guarded" area.

 ;D oh thank you that's really helpful .when I try to download  Virus on my home area avast stop it so i think it's  works
