I have re-installed Avast Home edition.
In the previous installed version I did get a auditional virus varning
when I got an infected e-mail.
After reinstallation I do not.
Why??? ???

Go to avast settings on the tab 'Sounds' and configure avast sounds.
Or, Control Panel > Multimedia and sounds applet > Sounds > configure your sound scheme.
Can you do that or need more help?

Checked it. Everything seems ok.
I just have to wait for a infected e-mail.
