Why doesn't the P2Pshield work for Frostwire (the 'same' program as Limewire)?

The reason I use avast is that it has such a good P2Pshield. This request is relatively easy to implement because Frostwire is a older version of Limewire Pro. Could this be done?

Yeah, I don't know why Frostwire is not listed on the P2P Shield. Maybe Frostwire is included in the category of Limewire..

If your P2P application isn't listed, check if it has a function to have your AV scan the completed download. This is the file and path you need to enter, C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashQuick.exe.
