Internal Program Error !

My scheduled hard disc scan started this morning on schedule then stopped at just 15.6MB.

It only said: failed (internal program error.)

So I ran a new scan and at around 30GB scanned 4 viruses showed up within minutes of each other:

C:\RECYCLER\...\ac500ca1.exe   Infection: Win32:Trojan-gen {Other}   File was successfully deleted...
C:\RECYCLER\...\ac500vc.exe   Infection: Win32:Trojan-gen {Other}   File was successfully deleted...
C:\System Volume Information\...\A0043325.exe   Infection: Win32:Trojan-gen {Other}   File was successfully deleted...
C:\System Volume Information\...\A0043326.exe   Infection: Win32:Trojan-gen {Other}   File was successfully deleted...

I was able to delete but I first tried the Chest and the internal error stopped me...

What's up?

I mistakenly said the scan stopped at 30GB. It's actually still running...
