SAS updater stays idle..

Hi forum friends,

Got a prompt to install a SuperAntiSpyware update, but the updater when launched stays empty. Does the update server not react or what? The last time it also was slow and only worked after several retrials,

Well finally I could update to SAS 4.28.1010. The update server did not respond at 209.62.68.168, pinged it several times and after it finally responded the update went swift and smoothly,

Maybe they just had issues with the server...too many connections/overload...

I didn't get a prompt, perhaps because I have update checking disabled, as the updates are too darn big on dial-up. Unlike the nice incremental update of avast, SAS downloads the complete database, etc. a pain in the rear.

I have in the past had slow updates on their servers, we will have to see if one of the new elements in this update (better updating) makes a blind bit of difference.
