VBS:Malware [Gen]
« on: June 02, 2004, 02:51:21 PM »
I am running on WinXP Pro with all updates and service packs applied. avast detected this virus on a file called VerifierBug.class in some Sun Java folder. avast cannot repair it and I dont know whether to delete the file or not. It does not seem to be doing anything though. Any suggestions?

If in doubt send it to the Chest, this is an avast protected directory that the virus can't activate from.

Then run avast again to confirm you are clean.

You can E mail the file to Avast support team so they can check if its a false alarm or a virus. Also try going to http://www.kaspersky.com/scanforvirus and scanning the file with KAV on line for a second opinion.
