avast is not usable in Ubuntu wubi9.04. I downloaded avast4 in wubi9.04, but am not usable.

Download avast!  I installed Linux Home Edition (RPM package). What do you do afterwards? I was able to manage avast4 in the Windows 2000, but cannot do it in wubi.

Does wubi use which for Windows version or Linux? CPU2.4G RAM512MB wubi20GB.I want to use a forum and the avast software of a Japanese edition for Linux.

Hallo, in Ubuntu, prefer the *.deb package (which is native for this distro-family). Otherwise, the *.tar.gz tarball is also an option (should work everywhere).
