Hello, sorry, newbie here. I installed avast4workstatiotn_1.3.0-2_i386.deb on Ubuntu Netbook Remix 9.04 on an Asus 1005HA. It seems to work OK, but I can't see the GUI completely, it is clipped at the bottom so that I can't see the button (or anything else) under the title "Scan for viruses"
I've researched this a bit and tried the following:
navigated to-
cd /usr/lib/avast4workstation
and remove
sudo rm -rf lib-x11/
and
sudo rm -rf lib-gtk2/
in order to give Avast an Ubuntu theme interface, which I hoped meant it would make the menu fit! It didn't.
