Win:32 Torjan-gen {Other} - Please help, quick!

Hi.

My computer has been infected by a virus called: Win32:Trojan-gen {Other}. Avast! Anti-Virus picked it up. I can't get rid of it. It keeps infecting svchost.exe. I have tried deleting it (the virus), but with no luck. Also my IE 6.0 homepage is set to: http://213.159.117.132/index.php. Please help, quick!

Try to check the disk with Ad-aware 6 and SpyBot 1.3 first. You can found both on www.security-ops.tk

You can also try the application called CWSHREDDER.
This is an cool web search trojan remover. You can fid it on http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

the spybot search & destroy 1.3 is good, if you cant remove with this one use it in safe mode or choose the option to remove trojans on the next reboot.

One of the good programs for get rid of this trojans which change a search page is the tool Hijackthis, but if you plane to use it, read first the help file. You can find it on the link listed above.
