Eudora problem

Eudora doesn't reach servers after last update.   Works fine if I disable Avast by using the original Eudora.ini file.

I had the same problem at first.  Have you tried to reboot? I believe the reboot worked for me.

Are you using WinXP?  Eudora 6.1.06?  Did you try the Avast Mail Protection Wizard?

Am using Eudora 6.1.0.6.   Rebooting doesn't do it, but I think I have another more basic problem, since I can not connect with update server.  I need to look closer at the installation, damage, etc.   Thanks for the suggestions.
