This is ridiculous. i4i has no business in meddling with Microsoft.

i4i just wants power.

I suppose i4i is planning to sue Sun Microsystems because of OpenOffice using their XML tags.

don't be sorry, I agree with you

edit:...but also consider how many companies have been or/and are sued by Microsoft over patent infringement. So there's something funny going on now  :D I don't support this Canadian company, I don't think they're right and I agree they do look for recognition and power, but they involuntarily get something unexpected happen  ;D

Update:

Microsoft is going to remove the XML feature from their products from all copies of MS Word '07 that would be sold on or after January 11, 2010 and MS Word 2010 is being designed without infringing the technology.
