Desktop can allow you a Intel® Core™2 Quad

I don't think this is available in Laptops. I haven't seen any.

There are mobile quad cores --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penryn_%28microprocessor%29#Penryn-QC but I haven't seen them either.  There are also quad core Nehalem mobile cpus -->http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_Core#Nehalem_microarchitecture_based

Vista seems interesting^^
The only quad core I've heard and I've seen is a PC version one.
Wow I can say that these new technology are really interesting and also cool!

Hi...

I agree, although I would go with Windows 7 Home Premium, not the basic and if you have some extra money to work with, the Professional or Ultimate versions would give you some extra features, if you feel you need them. :)

God bless :)

Hi...

From what I understand, if the system you purchase also comes with a Windows 7 upgrade option, then it should come to you either free of charge or at reduced cost. Program details are posted here. Also, here are some additional points to consider when you upgrade the OS. :)

May God bless you :)

Hi...

This will most likely depend on the manufacturer, check for this when making your purchase. :)

God bless :)

Indeed, be sure to check. My "free" Windows 7 upgrade from HP is going to cost me $40 in fees.
