I am also learning through life experience...

You might say 20 years isn't too old. But my 20 years is really huge compared to my peers.

I have gone through stuff that a normal 20 year won't go through. 8)

One of the main reason I am in this forum is just to learn something new.

My speech is normally very blunt. It is because I lived in a very tough love environment

But I don't mean any harm. ;D

When we are young we think we know everything,as we get older we realise how little we know. ;)

But I think it is because knowledge always increase and change

Think about this

I learned in my smaller class that Pluto is a planet.

But few years ago, the same teachers who taught me are teaching another generation that Pluto is not a planet and there are only 8 planets.

This is natural  ;D

There are still people in my class that believe that Pluto is still a planet. It is because they don't have time to read or think. They just learn to get high marks or to pass.

here is a handy one, http://fishcodelib.com/Dictionary.htm works with these Operating Systems, Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008/Windows 7 (x86/x64)

Dictionary .NET is a tiny and smart multilingual dictionary translating from/to 43 languages … Integrates Google Dictionary, Translate, Suggest and Wikipedia 4-in-1 without installing them.

@ Yokenny

World War 2 is nothing compared with the difficulty that a normal 20 year goes through....

Think about the debt that people of my age and below have to pay just because people like you borrowed much   ;D

It took the United States 233 years (1776-2009) to amass a national debt of $1.4 trillion. This is now projected to double in the next 10 years. The national debt ceiling is going up another $2 trillion to $12.3 trillion. The federal budget deficit for 2009 hit a record $1.42 trillion; 2010 is expected to set a new record of $2 trillion. One trillion dollar bills, end to end, would cover the distance between Earth and the sun, or to the moon and back 200 times.

“As we peer into society’s future, we — you and I, and our government — must avoid the impulse to live only for today, plundering for our own ease and convenience the precious resources of tomorrow. We cannot mortgage the material assets of our grandchildren without risking the loss also of their political and spiritual heritage. We want democracy to survive for all generations to come, not to become the insolvent phantom of tomorrow.”

President Dwight D. Eisenhower
Farewell Address to the Nation; January 17, 1961

The things that you guys have left us are drugs, pornography and spam and viruses LOL

Right now, without counting future unfunded liabilities like Social Security or Medicare, our national debt tops $12 trillion. There are roughly 100 million American households. That's a national debt of roughly $120,000 per family.

A USA TODAY analysis found that the nation's hidden debt — Americans' obligation today as taxpayers — is more than five times the $9.5 trillion they owe on mortgages, car loans, credit cards and other personal debt.

This hidden debt equals $473,456 per household, dwarfing the $84,454 each household owes in personal debt.

To all concerned...

Here is another thread that could very well take a nasty turn...please be civil ::)

@Chris: I haven't lived through WWII but I've done some study of it during the years before I came to the Lord. A very ugly and brutish conflict that took the life of millions. Please see here. I don't think anyone who hasn't seen what war is can understand the suffering and the toll it takes in many different ways on the folks who have seen one. A sad waste. :(

God bless :)

@ bob

This is what I see  ???

I found out that this is the problem with using the Request policy add on in Firefox

But,

How come I can see all others photo except yours?

@ ardvark

I don't think this thread is nasty. I could learn a lot about respecting others and staying in college. I consider this as an intelligent discussion.

@ Chris

Maybe Photobucket is blocked in your country?
Bob's avatar location:

Most people use avast! to store their avatar like mine:

The blockage can also be local on Chris's computer.
Check your filtering especially the child safety filtering.
My photobucket account contains nothing that little kids can't see. :)  ;D ;D
