Well i have read it, but they dont tell which version of Avast 5 they use, it could be free, or Pro. And they dont use the PUP scanning, because it is not the default in Avast 5. And maybe if they test it with that option activated, avast could deal with that rogue software. And i must mention that avast 5 pro have the script block feature, that could help with detection of rogue software.
They just mention Avira has the option of detecting rogue, and Avast 5 has it too (and older versions of Avast). I think for Avast they may be the PUP. I don't know for sure. That test is missing that info about Avast 5.
But is nice to see, someone testing it against rogue software.
