Network Shield blocking DCOM

Network Shield is doing a good job of blocking DCOM exploits on port 135 tcp, but why does it have to keep popping up and telling me about it?  Sorry to have to ask again, but I didn't get any reply this morning.  For the first time in my life I'm beginning to wish I hadn't uninstalled McAfee to replace it with Avast.

I'm using Vista, and Avast 5.0.418.  Never had this trouble with Avast 4 on Windows XP.

Is your Windows updated? You shouldn't being expecting that attacks...
Do you use a firewall?
And more important, is your computer clean?
