Exclude C:\Windows\Temp\_avast5_ folder into Immunet settings.

thanks for the clarification Chris.
One more question, do you also have this alert? pls see attached file.

This is not a problem but I just wanna know if anyone of you have this.

thanks
I think you might be using an old version of Immunet.  There was a problem quite some time ago which was
fixed through an update.

thanks for the advice Tech.

hi bob, im using version 1.0.26,
actually it doesn't bother me because it does not cause any conflicts or errors. i just wanted to know what causes this. could it be the virus def. updates?

thanks again.

Your running the latest version. What's strange is that I never got a warning and I've also updated avast! 5 ???

@bob
actually it doesn't have any warning pop ups. i just found it was detected as a threat, when i looked at the summary and history in immunet protect.

It doesn't cause any trouble though.
But I just excluded the folder as suggested by Tech.

@ sj

Please run the diagnostics tool and send it to support@immunet.com

I don't have this problem.

Please also include the problem and give the link for that image in the message  8)

I blogged about the story here.

http://dontsurfinthenude.blogspot.com/2010/03/anti-virus-in-cloud.html

There's some interesting information I came across about how Immunet is able to glean detections from AVG, Mcafee or Norton without using those engines itself- but you'll have to read the blog to find out more!

Any feedback appreciated.
