/computer slow down when installing the latest version of Microsoft Net Framework (3.5- SP-1) When I applied optional Windows Updates for MS Net Framework

maybe you don't have 3.0, the installation of net framework its a bit slow

or sometimes hang-ups. if not complete then it will make you mad for starting your computer

but if that thing is complete installed in your computer it will make your computer fly in speed.

regards!!!

Just redid all the update installs with Avast turned off during the process.  It was the Behavior Shields getting in the way and causing the slowdown.

I don't know anyone that having purchased avast IS that would swap/exchange it for NIS (180 day) license, as they are already using avast.

So what is wrong with using the avast 5.0 free version and getting a free firewall:
Many forum users are using these:
- PC Tools Firewall seems to have the least user headaches as it doesn't seem to be constantly asking the user questions about this and that.
- Online Armor for the most parts fine but it has caused some users grief after avast program updates and that is something you have to watch out for.
- Outpost Firewall 2009 free, a cut down version of the Outpost Firewall Pro version, which should still provide good protection, http://free.agnitum.com/. Download, http://www.filehippo.com/download_outpost_firewall/
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.762) UI 1.0.801/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

Hi, I have a problem with Avast! 5 free. On having done an analysis the bar of progress me puts to 100 % when still it has not ended. Bony it reflects neither the current condition nor the time of the analysis, already be rapid or complete, the bar of progress goes for freely. Some solution?

Sorry for my english

Hi Josegua

you have to wait for the bar to finsih

This can happen with many programs. But does the bar finish, and so you can exit the the anlysis?

Or does the bar keep running, and cannot stop?

Hello, and I recount to on that the bar of progress puts to 100 % when starting scanning PC. The analysis continues until the end without problems. But it is troublesome that the bar is to 100 % when this percentage is not real

Yes, here it is
Analysis has just begun and the bar of progress is already to 100 % without having finished the scanning

I see Josegua. you are using Free edition. perhaps try a Repair of yr avast installation.

here are some directions -

http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=45302.msg379321#msg379321

perhaps you could use Additional Options to attach yr screenshot - lower left corner of Post Reply editor (max 200kb)
As it is, the screenshot is too large for the forum interface.
