Thanx for linking the topic.
Since I know, which programm causes the problem, I can live with this little "problem".
I suspect, that the problem will be solved with one the next updates of avast.

Hi,

in my case, the RtTeam60.sys under Windows 7 Ulitmate 64-bit caused a BSOD when I installed Avast 5 Internetsecurity.

Cheers,

Thomas

Hi tfrensch,
could you please tell us to which software 'RtTeam60.sys' belongs, or is it just malware?
thanx, asyn

Hi,

sure. The RtTeam60.sys is a driver for my onboard Realtek network card. The RtTeam60.sys is for teaming my two nics together. I does no matter in building a Team of Nics or not. The loading of the driver causes a BSOD.

I use the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 Board and the newest driver from the gigabyte website. Here is the link for the driver and the diagnostic tool, with which you can build a team: http://www.gigabyte.de/Support/Motherboard/Driver_Model.aspx?ProductID=4642&ost=windows+7+64bit#anchor_os

Cheers, Thomas

1. uninstall all versions of avast.
2. run the uninstall utility in safe mode. http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility
3. install (in safe mode, if needed) the latest version of ais. http://www.avast.com/internet-security#tab3
See, if this fixes your problem.

If you like you can also try the latest pre-release version, it also fixes some problems and was just released yesterday. http://files.avast.com/files/beta/5.0.492/setup_ais.exe

Sorry,

I did this all before. I did reinstall my windows 7 für 3 times! I have tried enough. I am no more interested to be a beta tester! Please bring a fixed version which works!

Thanks, Thomas

OK Guys, I tried and I failed. The beta version also crashed my system! Now I uninstalled my Realtek-Teaming, but now seems the Realtekdriver itsself be the guilty. With the beta I have no more bluescreen but also no more internet connection. The Internet Security is blocking all my NICs.

Thats it, please tell me to downgrade on the normal Avast Pro version. I tried to install that, but after giving my license key, the programm automaticly updated to the Internet Security version!

Cheers, Thomas
