I dont need further help, I have been answering mostly snide comments that I dont want to answer any more thank you,
If you are typical of the attitudes on the avast forum, I am not bothered if I see it ever again !

I have to agree with you that certain ppl here are snide and that it was not easy to determine where to address my own license issue (Create Ticket--tech support as it turned out), but Avast is a great program which I have been using for several years--it has been very trouble free... I first got it when a tech person upgraded my computer and told me that it used less resources than Norton which was the previous product I used. Aso used macafee in the past.
