avast on-acces scanner
« on: July 12, 2004, 05:05:42 PM »
One of the providers is Outlook/Exchange.

This provider is not active on my computer.
There is a note saying: Provider waits for subsystem.

Can any one tell me what the meaning of this remark is?
Thank you  in advance

peterg,

The Outlook/Exchange is for Microsoft Outlook email client. If this program is not installed on your computer, then it will be inactive.  It is one of the defaults that Avast installes unless you "uncheck" the box during the installation process.
It harms nothing so don't worry about it.
