Cant fix virus

Hi all.  I have recently installed avast and it has found a virus called Win32:Wintrim-011[Trj]
I cant seem to fix this or even find any help on the net as to what this virus is or how to repair.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi.  Thanks for your reply.  I am running windows xp home edition.  The virus was found in "C:\WINDOWS\mslagent\uninstall.exe" file.

If so, with what results..
IF not, why not ?

or do a boot-time scan with avast, or delete/move the file in safeMode (F8-Boot) with avast or manually..
