I am having the same issue with adobe photoshop cs5 64bit on windows 7 pro 64bit.
I have no problem on saving files, but when I close the program, it crashes sometimes.

works ok on my Win7 x64.. so, when it'll crash again (Win7 users only), don't close error dialog, but right-click on taskbar -> Start Task Manager, go to Processes tab, right-click on photoshop.exe, choose Create Dump File.. and send us those files please, thanks.

I am using windows 7 64bit....photoshop cs5 extended....avast pro internet security

The crash happens randomly and I am not able to recreate it. There are two types of crashes that happen:

1. When doing save as (not all the time...randomly) in photoshop cs5, cs5 just shuts down...no error window nothing...just poof....turns off.

2. The other type of crash is during regular cs5 use it will give me an error similar to above about cs5 referencing memory that could not be read...the values are different everytime.

I don't know what to do...is there a way to tell avast to ignore any and all adobe components? I don't want to disable avast but then again I have lost tons of time losing my work....it is driving me insane.
