spyware blaster

WIN ME.  When I went to install, would not install, received message- MScomctl.ocx . not correctly reg, file missing  runtime error 339. appreciate the help. Thanks,

Do you have the vb runtime installed from Microsoft? I think not. Do it, reboot and try again.

It may be my eyes Bob, but what is the difference between mine and yours?  :D

Anyway, just a little look in the very small faq section of the spyware blaster website gave this:

http://www.javacoolsoftware.net/downloads/missingfilesetup.exe

Both links/solutions should work.

Hi Artras,

FYI:
this board regrettably cuts off long URLs, so you need to enclose them properly in [ URL = link-URL ] Text [ / URL ] (without the spaces..)
Otherwise, the link is unclickable ->  unusable for Newbies..

Spywareguard works good alone with Spyblaster aswell.

Sorry I did not catch this thread earlier.
There is a very simple procedure to register the MsCom file into the registry.
You really did not need to restore the putter.   ;D
