Avast saying not installed or loaded

I have MS  Office Outlook 3 . I updated the free version of Avast and it now  says the email and in fact everything is being protected. When I open my email now it keeps saying Program files\avrilsoftware\avast4\ashoautxt.dll not installed or loaded. I notice that Avast is working and globe moving whwen I go to check emails. What is this and how can I get this message ato stop>?

thats because you changed versions....

i suggest u uninstall avast with the special uninstall tool and then install again
your problem is probably a remainder from the uninstalled program which didnt get removed propperly from the outlook plugins
