Put Chest on different partition?
« on: September 07, 2010, 10:28:49 PM »
Am running Avast under an Ubuntu 9.10 that has a relatively small \Home partition, where data to be stored is kept on a large separate drive. During my initial scan Avast hit a positive on a multi-GB file that it couldn't move, I would assume because it couldn't store in on the \Home drive. Is there a way to change the location where the chest is?

hallo,
for such biig files it's far better to move them manually (path is shown in the gui), because chesting will introduce additional overhead, spent on encrypting their contents.
