Win32:Startpage-006 [Trj]

Hello all....i too have been infected with this virus....i had windows ME and installed windows update to XP and ran avast......i'm constantly renaming/or moving the viruses but each day they reappear.....any suggestions?  How do i get rid of this virus once and for all???? :o

i got a problem with the same trojan, and avast detected it but inmediately this trojan came back. no adwares, antiviruses deleted it. but i have a solution, even when my pc was infected by Startpage.IX. try to get PestPatrol, a good program to remove trojans and rubbish, this one was the only one that removed this disturbing trojan. i hope this info is useful. ciao ciao

This browser hijacker does not come back if you remove it poperly unless you keep visiting malicious sites and keep installing malicious applications.
