The one disk drive you have, if CD/DVD it is called an optical drive.
The normal way of entering the BIOS for may different motherboard/BIOS settings is by pecking away at the delete key whilst the system is booting. There is software (freeware) that can give you lots of information about your system, System Information for Windows (SIW)
http://gtopala.com/siw-download.html, get the portable version as that doesn't require installation' SIW Without Installer (English-Only).
However, finding that information isn't going to help you find and change the BIOS settings, this is an area with risk as these settings could stop your system in its tracks. Given your inexperience I don't know if you should go rummaging in the BIOS.
See,
http://www.google.com/search?q=Change+boot+order+in+BIOS there are lots of hits, this is just the first,
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/ss/bootorderchange.htm.
After checking that out you aren't confident to proceed, personally I would leave it alone and get someone with more experience/knowledge to do it.
