avast with liux mint 9 64 bit

I Have a AMD 64 bit system running mint 9 64 bit OS. I cannot get avast to install.Can anyone help

use "force architecture" in your installer - it contains some IA-32 code, and thus, is (correctly) labeled with this architecture. But, will work on any x86-64 too.
