ik how to get rid of it. but why does avast not detect it.

Hi Packinheat,

Please make sure whether your avast antivirus especially on File System Shield have change the configure on Scan when executing, Scan when opening, Scan when writing and Scan when attaching to activate Scan All files check box?
Beside that have you check on File System Shield configuration for Packers option to check All packers?

I am not sure if those function activated with found this malware, but you may retry it again on your recently system.

cheers,

check your settings.. do you have PUP detection turned on? that's what will do the trick ;)
