Win32:INEX
« on: August 26, 2004, 11:55:14 PM »
I just found the Win32:INEX virus on my pc. I think that I can probably delete the file, but just wanted to have you confirm for me. It's in the C:Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings|Temp. Yes or no? Thanks very much.

I oldmedic, welcome to the forums.

Since the file is in the temporary internet files folder - use your browser to delete temporary internet files and that should remove it.

Once you have done that it would be best to do another scan to ensure that you are clear.

You might want to check out these two threads in advance just in case this happen again.
