Welcome to the forums,

have you tried the search option here?

You might also include your operating system
virus update signature
file path to the virus etc.

Try some homework first and give some more details so we can help you.

You'll find lots of answers here if you take some time to help the users here to help you, I know I have.

I have a virus calling itself Sporkeh and I have tried to find ways of getting rid of it and I can't find any that i can understand and that really work. I am able to access the internet and the cammand program. When I start my computer I have no icons or anything but I can just use the crl + alt + delete and go to new task and I am able to run programs through there. I am currently running windows XP so if anybody can help me get this virus off my computer I would be thankful. PLease post any suggestions if anybody has any. Thanks.

I tried to follow your instructions but none of them worked because a thing comes up that Issas.exe has caused a problem and that happens everytime.

Looks like you didn't do step 2 and/or 3 on that page. Please post a HijackThis log here. (That page has a link to HJT)

i had this sporkeh shit on my pc this weekend.
here are some additional information for the some of you having
problems like me with http://members.lycos.co.uk/dns2php/ this help.

my problem was: downlaoding the *.inf and rightclick + INSTALL
was not possible.

start your winxp in savemode but in savemode with command.com (its abgesicherter modus mit eingabeaufforderung in german ;) )....
in this mode the system start ends in this dos-like window and here it is possible
to start regedit.exe *jippi*
now do the changes as discribes in the *.inf.

it was a hell of different tries i did but i guess i first (before this regedit-stuff)
startet in normal save mode and searched for the shellext32.exe and simply
deleted it (empty trash!).

after all this the *.exe files are "enabled" again.
what was left was the 60Hz of my monitor and actually i do not
know how i fixed this problem. i guess a simple change in the dxdiag.exe menue plus a restart
(have a google if this error shows up after your infection too)

hope this helped a little bit.
F##K THIS B#STARD5 !!!!!

Bye,
