Webshield - please see attached

Not sure if Web Shield means it was blocked or infected?

but the traffic stats for Web Shield uses the word INFECTED

and the Web Shield log shows the trojan name and URL but no APPLY button to move to chest action

It is a historic listing and it effectively means the web shield detected 1 infected web page/item. The only option the web shield has is Abort Connection, so the infected items connection is dropped, so it shouldn't get n your system.

Because this is historic and it isn't on your system there is nothing to do, hence the fact you can't take any action (no button or it being greyed out).

Hi Karen,

The webshield log is written slightly wring in this case...What it should say is "Connection Aborted" because that is the only choice when detecting an infected site.

The "Action" section shouldn't really be there since you cannot choose anything, and the action is already taken when the link is blocked.

If the webshield detected something, it has been stopped before it reached your computer.

You guys are like the Maytag salesman...the product is so good...nothing to do! Keep up the good work!

P.S. Bob and I are probably the only ones old enough to remember the Maytag commercials.

Hey, I remember the Maytag commercials, and I'm not that old.

@ Karen R.  Glad to hear your issue is resolved.  :)
