I ditched Avast av v5 as it was conflicting heavily with Comodo's v5 firewall (which I like) although I'm going to try the new Avast 6 av beta and see if the SF.Bin alert still comes up from Comodo (I hope it doesnt)
Go back and read DavidR's post who is an avast! Technical advisor

You could be right, time to look for another firewall.

marc-d-l, next time you see a comodo popup asking you what to do with SF.bin select Treat this application as "Installer or Updater" (you'll have to pick this option from the drop-down menu).
Also, if the only buttons you can see are "Allow" and "Block" select "More options" (or something like that).
I hope this helps :)

All the best :-*

I've just done a def update, a program update, and a full scan with avast 6 and didn't get the SF.bin alert from comodo. (XP)

Thanks for replying, mag. That's all I wanted to know, I'll give Avast 6 a try now.

I guess the only way for me is to turn off D+
What's the point of having it if I cant use it?

What do you mean the only way is to turn off D+?  Did you even read the posts in this thread?  Choose Installer/Updater when it asks if it should be allowed or not.
