Start Avast > Menu > Virus Library

You can check for yourself. But remember that different av software vendors give differened names to malware.

VGREP is very usefull to see who is naming malware what.

You can also look at the VPS history

I don't know what you call Beagle.AZ (which scanner's nomenclature you're using) but avast currently detects all Bagle/Beagle variants to date.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving's not for you.
