Have you rebooted as I mentioned in my first instruction of the repair and as Asyn reaffirms ?

I reboot, and look like the new vps base is ok now, no more update message, message version is 110427-2  

But still no automatic update, I modify the ini file, and I put 2 minute in avast, now, it is 9 minutes the update was done.....and counting, so 2 minutes update is not working

I have a bad filling for the next vps base update...

By the way, version 110427-2 solve the problem with google image.....

You are confusing what I and Lachaine were trying to do in delaying the update check at boot in the avast5.ini and nothing to do with the default update interval (240 mins) in the avast settings.

Asyn you are right, avast minimum time for automatic update is 112 or 113 minutes
