website blocking system bug ?
« on: April 28, 2011, 08:15:18 AM »
Hi everyone,

I hope I'm on the right place to submit this kind of topic, otherwise, please excuse me for that.

On my computer, I have blocked the access of some URL, in fact, my black list is the following :

*.exe*
*.scr*
*.msi*

The filters works great, but a few days ago, I found a website on which Avast didn't block an "exe download".
The website is http://www.clubic.com (A french computer news website), try for exemple to download a software like SuperCopier or other one :
http://www.clubic.com/telecharger-fiche11010-supercopier.html

I don't know exactly why this website is not blocked by Avast.
I'm hoping this "issue" will be fixed soon.

Thanks for your help, and sorry for my "bad" english.
If you have any other questions...

regards,
Stephane

It is because the download is not a http connection but from a ftp source (see screenshot).
BTW: that site looks rather suspicious to me...
