License question

Hello everybody, I have a question about the avast! Home license. I've been having a lot of problems lately and I think I'm just going to reinstall avast! but I seem to have misplaced my key. Should I re-register? Or what alternative can I take? Thanks a lot.

Hi erikguy - just re-install avast! home and then ask for a new key.
But, if you will give more information, someone may be able to help you without the need to uninstall and re-install avast! home. What problems are you having?

No thanks dude. A LOT of SP2, networking, Windows problems. Too much I think. I'll probably just remove SP2 and install avast! Thanks anyway though.

BTW If you use the same email address during the registration, you'll receive exactly the same key as you did previously.

Avast! isn't a replacement for SP2. Avast! works well with SP2 however.

Will I really get the previous license? That's cool. But I have a new email address now. Will that be a problem? I know avast doesn't
replace
SP2 but I've been having a lot of SP2 problems. And I've got other software that'll cover me until I do a reinstall.

New email means you will get a new license, but don't worry. It will work and it still is free
