Cant remove Dropper.Delf.3.L

Has anyone been able to rewmove this, it is not for my computer but a friends, will installing avast remove this trojan?

This is usually related to a piece of adware called SyncroAd.

Search your system for any files or folders realted to SyncroAd.  If you find any uninstall / get rid of them before deleting the trojan.

Let him run a boottime scan with Avast. If that doesn't solve it let him post a HijackThis log here.

Thanks for the help guys, syncroad was installed on the computer so this has been removed and the files deleted out of temp
