Type:
Virus, Macro
Systems Affected:
Windows 2000, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows XP

A virus in the X97M.Laroux.gen family typically spreads only.

These viruses generally do not have any payloads and usually reside in only one macro module; although combinations of two modules are known to exist.

Most variants of X97M.Laroux.gen use the auto_open() sub function to become active and copy themselves into any opened Excel Workbook.

you can also try sending it from the chest like this

first move the file to the chest

Moving files to the Virus Chest
https://support.avast.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=501#idt_03

then send it from the chest

Submitting files from the Virus Chest to avast! Virus Lab
