Im trying to download a file what i know is clean however every antivirus i know marks it as a virus, and avast is doing it too, how can i tell avast to leave this file alone? Or maybe just turn avast off completely until im done using the program

how do you know its clean if every AV say infected ?
what malware name is given on the file ?
is it detected as PUP ?

upload suspicious file(s) to www.virustotal.com and test with 43 malware scanners
when you have the result, copy the URL in the address bar and post it here for us to see

Have you tried right click avast tray icon and disable shields ?
(dont complain if you get infected)

You can paste the link into the URL scanner section of VT, and it should then analyse the downloaded file.

can you post the download link ?

break the link when you post so it is not clickable, like this http as hxxp and www as wxw
