hmmm, are you familiar with DPC Latency Checker?
http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml

could you please check DPC Latency during uTorrent and post a screenshot here?
we're mainly interested in red bars (e.g. http://www.thesycon.de/dpclat/dpclat2.jpg)

thanks

I'd say it goes through the roof. Though i'll test that tommorow evening because its late now and it takes a bit of a time for this issue to happen. And i just happen to have a longer work day tommorow grrrr...

Hi RejZoR,
I've sent you a PM with some instructions if you are up to for some experimenting  :P Thanks. Lukas.

Any more details on this?

Definitely a DPC latency issue here. As soon as I start AIS FW, DPC shoots to steady 16000us+ if utorrent is downloading and goes back to "normal" as soon as I kill FW (just using the start/stop FW setting in Avast is enough).

Requirement is that utorrent + FW has been running for some time (the problem doesn't kick in immediately, even if utorrent is running at full speed -> something goes to "spinlock" state in FW only after some time).

AIS build 1203, Win7 x64 Home, AMD X2 4400+, 4GB.
