ADNM Build RC-2 (4.5.165)
« on: November 04, 2004, 01:35:27 PM »
I am trying to run the beta version of ADNM, I am trying to create an installation package to push to the clients, however when it brings up the screen for the authenticated user, I enter a valid administrator account and it says 'error confirming the password', I have tried several valid accounts and even created a new account, yet it always says this and will not get past, any ideas.????? :-[ :-\

Is this a fresh install of ADNM?  Or is this an upgrade?  If it is an upgrade the username to use is administrator the password is admin.

What if you leave all the boxes blank (Username, password, confirm password)?

That should install the avast service under the LocalSystem account.

BTW the thing you're describing is really a bug. It will be fixed asap.

Thanks
