Go to that scan, click on Details.
You'll find an option to change settings or delete the scan there.

Thanks Asyn

Feel a little daft now!!!

I'm sure the settings and delete option wasn't there when I looked earlier. I had just cancelled the custom scan that was running and I was looking for the setting to stop it running on boot up. I believe I have found the setting now that I've clicked on settings under details!!!

Thanks again

Mike

I have right-clicked on a specific HD in my system and used the Context Menu to run a scan.
But when it starts it does the C:\ Drive instead of say the F:\ Drive and adds ????? to the scan list (I have about 8 of them now).
The previous version of Avast worked perfectly. I must be doing something wrong.
Questions:
1. Why does it scan C:\ no matter what drive I rt/click on?
2. Why will it NOT let me delete the ????? scans even though it acts like it does, but they are still there?
3. I try to create a custom scan, but it doesn't work. I need the instructions of the EXACT steps to do so.

Thanks
PT

Thanks, but still have all the same problems.
I did notice that when I create a custom scan and name it like, G comment as Scan G, it names it " ? ? ? ? " without any of my parameters.
Avast names it " ? ? ? ? " and scan All harddisks at the bottom.
It TOTALLY ignores what I want.
I need this FIXED Please.
